January: Week_02
Week two came around and remembering to keep collaging was tough. It seems to be an easy task like an everyday chore that just so happens to fit right into a daily schedule. I had to catch up and did multiple in one day, which breaks the idea of creating one per day, however I was pretty determined.
This week I tried to focus on utilizing type to my advantage, rather than having it be a burden. Having this mindset, I can tell that the type involved helped create a focal point within each of these collages. I’m hoping that within the upcoming weeks that my use of type will become stronger. In each of these collages, there are plenty of layers involved where it can influence the focal point for each composition. Sometimes it’s successful and sometimes it doesn’t. The visuals balance is either, way too much or very clear. Not exactly much “balance” if you ask me. The question is however, is balance needed all the time?
